We wanted our wedding to be anything but "typical". We have been to enough of them to know exactly what we wanted and especially what we didn't want. In addition to providing our guests with an elegant setting and fantastic food, our #1 priority was music. We certainly didn't want the cliche, stuffy, wedding band playing all the usual wedding songs that make people in their mid-30's cringe. We wanted a band with a little more edge. A band that our most important friends and family would not only look forward to seeing leading up to the event, but will also rave about for years to come. I have seen LSMJ countless times over the course of two decades, most notably on the shore scene on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. I have long been aware of the affect LSMJ has on a crowd, and that was exactly what we were looking for. From the crash of the first symbol and pluck of the first chord, the dance floor at our wedding was packed (and we had a BIG wedding, 280 pp). Their music appealed to all ages as often times they play classic rock songs in a "Love Seed" way. Please don't make the mistake of worrying about whether they will appeal to the older age groups. My father loved them and said they were "awesome", and my mother-in-law even plans to gather a group and go to another LSMJ gig! The band also played at request a special version of "Sweet Child O'mine" for my father daughter dance. It has left us both with a memory for life.
The DJ that came with the band was phenomenal, and their pricing is very good. Also working with ESS & Nancy made the whole process very easy. Everyone was very professional and worked hard to make our day what we wanted.

Once the band started playing the dance floor was immediately packed. It got to the point that guests started moving tables in order to make the dance floor larger. Every single person at the wedding was so impressed by them and felt they made the wedding that much more special.
Without a doubt Amanda and I believe that the wedding would not have been as memorable if we had only hired a DJ. We are convinced that having Love Seed play our wedding far exceeded not only our expectations but our guest's expectations as well.
Not only were they great to listen to, everyone was extremely nice and a pleasure to work with. The DJ was able to accommodate all our requests and the road crew (especially Spanky) made the night so easy and stress free for everyone.
Last but not least, Nancy from ESS Entertainment worked with us and answered all of our questions (no matter how silly they might have been). It was a pleasure working with her when setting up the wedding and she made it 100% stress free. We’re looking forward to booking them for a 5 year anniversary bash
